A Love Letter from God – A Book Review

So this last week I was sent A Love Letter from God.  Being that I have a young daughter it was an ideal book for her to review.  Her words: ” I liked it.”  She read it immediately when it came in the door and then reread it a couple more times.

Over the next few days she read it a couple more times and then the novelty wore off.  It was a simple book of 12 pages and good rhymes for ages 7 and up to read on their own or parents to their younger ones.  The message was perfect for the young ones : I am God, you are my child, and I love you!

God speaks to the child as his or her parent, and shares his love for them as His child.  It truly is a love letter from God.

Not really much else to say about it.  It is for the younger ones and it is worth the read.  My Daughter liked it – what more can I say 🙂

Give with a passion!

Chris

About the book:
Author P.K. Hallinan
Illustrator: Laura Watson
In this story, the author supposes what God might say in a personal letter written to a child. The unconditional and unlimited nature of God’s love is revealed through simple and lyrical language. And the cutouts throughout the book add visual interest to the rich and varied artwork.
